When the student is ready . . .

and other clichés.

Something really bad happened to me in the past month. I can’t talk about it right now. I can imagine worse things. But I never saw this coming, and I am still in a bit of shock.

So it was helpful, and a consoling thing to my spirit, to read this post over at Lessons From the Tortoise.

    Speaking of new beginnings, I see that you bought Stenogger, my little utility. (That’s how I found your wonderful website.) I hope you are liking it — but yikes! your name is the brief for “medical” !!

    You can delete the entry, or change the brief. One way I resolve conflicts is to put “xx” at the beginning of the word I use less often, so in your case xxmel would = medical.
